The market stretches along the city streets. Prices are very competitive, and the wide selection offers many opportunities. You can easily reach it by train or by boat. The only difficulty, but not too much, is finding a parking spot for the car. The long lake also offers a great place for a walk, and the restaurants around the perimeter of the market provide a chance to rest and refresh.

The most well-stocked market (in the northern part of Varese), excellent value for money regarding leather products and a variety of regional foodstuffs. A destination for many "shopping tourists" coming from nearby Switzerland.

Wow, this actually brought back memories of my childhood marketplaces, where you could buy all and nothing, and a little bit of everything. It's huge, and everyone can find something for oneself. Watch out for the shady characters walking around selling fake jewellery🤓 If you want to avoid crowds, best time to go is before 9am.
